I am Jenny Voss. I am the artist and creator behind Second Floor Art Studio. The name Second Floor Art Studio came naturally. My studio is upstairs, where all the magic happens. It’s my happy place, filled with creativity, imagination and joy. My work is born from two lifelong passions-my deep love for animals and my dedication to textile art.

 

Animals have always been an essential part of my life, but Sealyham Terriers hold a special place in my heart. I breed, raise, and show Sealyhams in AKC conformation and through this journey, I’ve learned to appreciate the individuality, spirit, and expression of each dog I meet. Their personalities, quirks and charm inspire me daily.

Alongside my love for dogs, I have always been drawn to the texture, color, and creative possibility found in fabric. Textile art allows me to work with layers, dimension and subtle detail in a way no other medium can. Over time, these two passions naturally intertwined, leading me to develop a distinctive artistic style that is uniquely my own.

Each portrait I create is crafted entirely from fabric, carefully selected and layered to bring out the essence of your beloved pet. I strive to capture not only their likeness but also their personality, their presence and the spirit that makes them irreplaceable. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, designed to be a timeless keepsake you can treasure for a lifetime.
